FLY / 0152

Solemn moment in this blog.
To whom deserves. Is an American folk performer. Ramblin' Jack Elliott (born Elliott Charles Adnopoz, August 1, 1931). Noticed? 1931! This CD is ... in 2009. I take my hat to this gentleman. Yes, 5 stars!

Já ouvi algumas coisas.
Pelos vistos é uma lenda viva.
Gravou o 1º álbum ao fim de 20 anos!!! Eganhou logo um prémio. :)
The songs and stories of my life have always come from regular people who worked hard jobs and took on big challenges in tough times. Often enough life alone is a challenge. That's what folk songs and blues are all about. And in these uncertain days maybe my work has something to offer you.

The Tennessee Stud was long and lean
The color of the sun and his eyes were green
He had the nerve and he had the blood
And there never was a horse like the Tennessee Stud

I had some trouble with my sweetheart's pa
One of her brothers was a bad outlaw
I sent her a letter by my Uncle Thud
And I rode away on the Tennessee Stud

Long live the Blues!
And Ramblin' Jack Elliott too!

Fantastic songs Fly!!...and that makes him 78!..The fullness of the instrumentals are wonderful, I guess like the full experience of Ramblin Jack. (I hope Im counted as a "friend" if this blog goes private. As you know I listen here then I go to the cd store to seek out the ones I like, so lets hope your blog stays forever ).
Best wishes to you and yours,Sungirl.

Por isso adoro este blog!

Tenta manter-te "visível"!
